Live Birds
Our preserve operations are licensed by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources and we are affiliated with the Michigan Association of Game Bird Breeders and Hunting Preserves. Upland game bird operations begin in mid-August and continue through April for pheasant, chukar, quail, huns and mallards. Groups of 1-6 hunters are assigned a minimum of 120 acres in which birds are placed. Our chest-high native grasses and small pines provide excellent cover for the birds and very natural conditions for hunters and dogs.
